Jack and Marissa met at the wedding of their good friends Sam and Donna. They hit it off instantly. In fact, they had their first date the very next day. The two seemed inseparable. In fact, when Jack was offered a job in Anytown, Marissa followed him. Although they had apartments on the opposite sides of town, Jack managed to always find the time to fix a broken window or remove a frightening bug. Both Jack and Marissa wanted a family of their own, however Jack insisted that they court for at least two years before entering into holy matrimony. On the two year anniversary of the night they met, Jack took Marissa to the lake for a romantic dinner. This was the night he proposed.

Marissa exclaimed, "Yes!" right away. Since that moment, life has been a whirlwind for the happy couple to be. They immediately reserved the Anytown Lakes Lodge as the place for their wedding, since it is near the spot where Jack proposed marriage. Marissa has been busy meeting much of Jack's family and the two have learned a lot about each other as they make the hundreds of decisions that go along with planning a wedding.

Although they love being engaged, they are both really looking forward to the big day!
